Tell us why you became a teacher

“I became an art teacher because I believe in the power of creativity to transform lives. Art provides students with a voice, a sense of confidence, and a way to express who they are. I was inspired by my own experiences and teachers, and I strive to create a classroom where students feel encouraged to explore, take risks, and grow both artistically and personally. Teaching art allows me to combine my passion for creativity with my desire to make a meaningful impact on students every day.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I have the privilege of getting to experience memorable things every day. Getting to see students explore their creativity and have their aha moment gives me so much excitement.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The first thing that I would do with the $25,000 is honestly pay off the remaining part of my student loans. I would also like to have some kind of party for all of my students! Because let’s be honest, I’m only here because of them!!
