To give kids the starting foundation that school is a safe, fun and loving environment. Teaching Pre-K at a title 1 school and teaching them through love and caring puts a massive impact on the ability to learn and thrive!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy second year teaching I had a student come in, 4 years old with Tourette’s syndrome. I learned equally as much from him as he did from me. The smile I watched grow in him from meet the teacher to the end of the year was so impactful to me knowing I helped achieve that. He was my little pal all year long. Best part was writing stories he would create during naptime since he had a hard time keeping calm.
What would you do with the $25,000?Start off by paying off school debt and hopefully quit my second job. Living independently is very challenging financially. I would love to put money away in a savings account to save for my future family I hope to have one day. I would also love to take care of my Grammy like she has done for me my whole life.
