I became a teacher because I felt like that is what the Lord wanted me to do. He gifted me with the ability to connect with young people and gave me a weird enough personality to fit right in but still be cool and relatable. After 18 years of teaching, I’m still convicted this is where he wants me.

My most memorable teaching experience is hearing from former students about how much they loved my class. I’m currently in the sweet spot of watching former students become parents and I’m now starting to have former student’s kiddos. I love hearing them say, “oh you will love Mrs. Fosnaugh. She’s the best.” Makes me feel like I must be doing something right.

Not gonna lie, I would go on a trip and fix my kitchen. I love to travel and my kitchen has tiled countertops (who does that) and ovens from the 1960’s (only one works). I might buy some candy for my students out of the kindness of my heart.
