I became a teacher because I wanted a rewarding career where I would make a positive impact in my community.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

The most memorable learning experiences I have had when students' learning is done through questioning, reasoning and wonder therefore taking ownership of their education. The most recent example being in a science lesson on the impact humans and nature have on how plants and trees thrive or succumb their environmental conditions. Students were enthroned in their investigations and hypothesis resulting in them going by the required task. They continued to expand learning on their own.

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25000 would be spent on providing the students a state of the art environment such as adjustable desk, technology which enhance the student's learning experience. As well as field trips in where students are exposed to various educational lessons outside of the classroom.
