Tell us why you became a teacher

I chose to become a teacher because of my genuine passion for working with students of all ages. From the moment they walk into my classroom at the start of the year, I view them as valued members of a supportive and inclusive learning community. In addition to my dedication within the classroom, I am equally committed to supporting students beyond it, and I take great pride in volunteering and actively contributing to my community.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Each day brings meaningful and memorable experiences, as no two days are ever the same. From the stories students eagerly share and the laughter that fills the classroom to the achievement of academic and social learning goals, every moment contributes to a dynamic and rewarding educational journey.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000, I would invest in a greenhouse to create hands-on learning opportunities and share my passion for plants with my students, enriching their educational experience through interactive and meaningful engagement.
