Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I wanted to be apart of shaping future generations, inspire curiosity, and make a lasting impact on children’s lives. It offers the chance to share knowledge, foster critical thinking, and support personal growth. Teaching is a meaningful career that combines passion, purpose, and the opportunity to contribute positively to children everyday.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I would say when I had a student that really struggled with day to day life and I just made sure that it was known to the student that I was there no matter what . To this day this student still comes to me for support and I will always be there for her no matter what ! Her teacher this year says I made a huge impact on her life!

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000, I would improve my classroom by buying supplies, technology, or books for my students. I would also pay off personal expenses, save for the future, and invest in further education. There is always room for growth and improvement.
