Growing up with my mom running a daycare in our home, I was constantly surrounded by the joyful chaos of kids discovering the world. But it was my years working as a summer camp counselor that truly sparked my passion for education. I fell in love with guiding children, helping them build confidence, and watching them learn. Becoming a teacher was my natural calling, a way to turn my lifelong love for mentoring kids into a career where I can inspire and support them every single day.

My most memorable experience wasn't a specific lesson, but a moment of profound connection. While teaching 4th grade in Morton Grove, my husband, Jack, and I learned our children, Jaime and Rey, would be joining our family. Sharing this milestone with my classroom was unforgettable.
