I love teaching because it allows me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children.

I wanted to be a teacher because I believe education is one of the most powerful ways to change the world. Every child deserves someone who sees their potential and helps them believe in it. I chose teaching to inspire confidence, curiosity, and kindness. By shaping young minds, encouraging critical thinking, and modeling compassion, I hope to make a lasting difference—not just in a classroom, but in the future my students will help create.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching moments was with a neurodivergent student who struggled with confidence in speaking and writing. After a writing assignment, I invited students to read aloud. To my surprise, he volunteered. Nervous but determined, he read to the class. When he finished, his classmates applauded. His face beamed with pride. In that moment, I was grateful he felt safe, supported, and brave enough to shine.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were given $25,000, I would use it in a way that creates lasting impact rather than temporary enjoyment. First, I would invest a portion in furthering my education and professional development, allowing me to grow in my career and better serve others. I would also set aside funds to support causes that matter deeply to me, particularly those that uplift children and families in need.
