Teaching is my passion and I knew it was my calling since I was in second grade. I love making connections and making my students feel loved

I became a teacher because I wanted to give love to my students like my second grade teacher, Mrs. Bushman did for me. Everyday she stood at the door and greeted us with a warm smile. Her classroom was a place of love and I thrived that year knowing she wanted me to do my best. From that year on I knew I wanted to do the same for students of my own one day.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThe best memories are when my students come back years later and remember the cheesy multiplication song I made them sing or to tell me about a favorite project or memory. Knowing that those core elementary years made a difference is everything to me.
What would you do with the $25,000?Oh gosh! That is half my salary!! I would probably put a lot of it aside for my own three children, and to help pay for their education. I want to make sure that their future dreams and career goals are obtainable and that I support them every step of the way. The future generation of teachers are important and I would love to donate money to help Support elementary education to local college students in need. The next generation and our future is so important and I want the best for them. Blu
