Because I remember what it was like to have the one teacher that was there for me all the time. I wanted to be that for others.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have my students do jobs in my room and it’s always a fun experience for them to pay rent and “buy” snacks with our classroom money.
What would you do with the $25,000?I do jobs that result in money which then students pay rent and can buy snacks and other rewards with them. I would use the money to stock my room. Unfortunately I work in a rough district and I would use the money to buy school supplies for students so that I always have what they need.
