Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to guide and help children grow and learn at their own level and pace. I want to see them smile every time they achieve something they know they worked so hard in learning. The smiles when you walk in the classroom the Mrs. Amanda your my best friend makes waking up and going to work so worth it every day.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

We had a lesson we were doing in our classroom where we went to the North Pole and we went skiing. I showed the students how we put on our ski’s and what we do when it was time to ski. Well one of my students went home and mom asked on the ride what he learned in school he told her that we would talk about it at dinner. Now mind you my students are only 3 years old.. so dinner came around and mom asked again what he learned in school and he then says let me show you and gives a demonstration.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put most of the money in a life savings for my children and grandchildren. Then take a portion of it to the church and give God my ties is an offering for blessing me and my family. Then Mae sure my students had the best supplies to help them learn.
