I had a hard childhood & in 5th grade I had an amazing teacher who made me feel so loved and seen. I will never forget his kindness and I aim to be like him everyday.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceHow do I pick one? For me the best moments are when they really absorb a lesson & are so excited to share with their parents what they learned. Or when I have past students who come see me & say remember that time when you.... As a preschool teacher I always worry they are to young for me to make an impact. Recently I was out of town & saw an old student hours from home at a gas station & she came running up & hugged me said Ms. Amanda I recognized you! Those are the moments for me❤️
What would you do with the $25,000?I would have a destination wedding and marry the love of my life & partner in crime. The man who makes all the things I need for my classroom and is always down for anything I come up with. He is willing to dress up as the Grinch, a leprechaun or Hagrid for me and my class. Joshie is a crowd favorite & deserves to win more so than I do.
