Tell us why you became a teacher

I have known I wanted to be a teacher since I was 9 years old . I remember writing a paper about it in 4th grade . I love watching each child grow academically. Especially those students who struggle academically , to see how much growth they make is a game changer . It really is a fulfilling job . I love getting to know each student and bonding with them all. I also became a teacher because I cannot picture me doing anything else . This is my path , God led me to where I am supposed to be .

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Wow , that’s hard to think about . I have had so many but I think when I see a student truly succeed and meet their full potential as a student .

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would donate some to a program in our community for students who have needs. I then would look at my classroom and use the money to improve my classroom . I would also donate some back to my private school.
