I became a teacher to make a difference. I love knowing that a 5 year old can come into my class barely able to hold a pencil and clueless to letters, and by the end of the year be able to write sentences and read books! There is nothing more rewarding than knowing I had a part in that.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have memorable teaching experiences every day when my previous students come to me with a hug and a good morning. I love when they tell me what they loved most about being in my class and how they wish they could come back.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would be amazing. I would buy new classroom supplies and materials, along with help pay my student loans.
