Growing up I was bullied, struggled with depression, and often felt completely alone. I promised myself that if I made it through, I would be the adult I needed when I was younger. Today I work to make sure no student feels invisible. My goal is to speak life into students, give them a safe space, and remind them that their voice, their future, and their story matter.

Watching my PBIS student committee grow has been one of my most meaningful experiences. When they first joined, many were shy and unsure of themselves. Now they are leading meetings, organizing school events, sharing ideas, and working together with confidence. Seeing them discover their voice and leadership reminds me why I do this work, to help students realize their potential and become the leaders our future needs.

I would invest it back into students. I would expand our PBIS store so students can be rewarded for positive choices and hard work. I would also help sponsor student trips for those who cannot afford them so every student has the chance to experience opportunities outside the classroom. I would love to eventually start a small foundation that supports school programs, educators, and students while continuing my own education.
