I was inspired to become a teacher because I believe in the power of education to change lives. I especially love special education, where I can support diverse learners and celebrate their growth. My students inspire me daily, and I am passionate about helping them build confidence and reach potential!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was mentoring a student who told me I am the only reason he enjoys coming to school and that am one of the only things that makes him happy. Hearing that reminded me how powerful simple encouragement can be and showed me I impact students more than I realize on a daily basis.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I received $25,000, I would invest in my classroom by purchasing meaningful materials and resources to better support my students’ learning needs. I would also use part of the funds to provide incentives for my students. Lastly, I would apply it toward helping to pay off college debt and adding some to future retirement savings.
