Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because some of the people who have impacted me the most of my life or some of my former teachers. I wanted to become a teacher so I could hopefully impact the students I have each year just like my teachers did for me!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was definitely my first year as a preschool teacher. I had a smaller class of only eight students, but by the end of the year we were so close, the kids were all best friends, and we had grown so much as a class. It was absolutely amazing to see the difference in the children from the beginning to the end and it is a year I will never forget!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would give some of the money back to my school because I work for an amazing school that deserves so much! I also would use some to pay off some loans and feel a little more financially stable. It truly would be a blessing !
