I lived through a lot of trauma as a child and teenager, I wanted to be a safe trusted adult for someone that may be going through what I went through growing up. I wanted to make a difference in young lives.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceEarly in my career, I had a student who struggled with behavior almost every day. I spent the year building trust and seeing huge changes in him.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would be able to purchase items for my classroom that would help me with more trauma informed approaches. If this is for classroom purchases. I could also take my family on an adventure.
