Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to pay forward all the good my teachers did for me. They helped me through some hard times and I want to do the same for the next generation of students.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable moment as a teacher was when I was checking in on a student who was checked out in class. They had their head down which was unlike them. When I checked in on them they were crying and they word vomitted a bunch of things that were happening to them and their family at the time. I was the first person they had told about any of this and I was the only person they were telling about any of this. They would then come see me when they needed to vent or talk through their feels.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would pay off debt and loans and put it toward my own kiddo who is currently on the way. She is due around the end of the year.
