I become a teacher because I was always very passionate about math and wanted to share my passion with others. I also had a middle school math teacher who really changed my life and I wanted to do the same for others.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are so many memories. I think one of my favorite memories was back in 2012 when a very special group of young ladies created a Ms. Wells appreciation day. They created posters and brought gifts. It became a tradition for several years after!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would buy more flexible seating for my students to use in the classroom. I would also purchase technology for students and myself to help enhance learning and support activities that require various technology.
