When I was a student, I was excited about school and learning new things. I feel this way still to this day; I am a life-long learner! Sharing this joy and getting to see this in the classroom is why I became a teacher.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI remember when I had a student with Downs Syndrome that did not talk and barely communicated. We worked together 1 on 1 and in small groups and by that Spring she was talking up a storm AND reading!!!!! I am still in contact with her and her mom today!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use it to stock our school library with books. We are a new school and there are no books in our library.
