To make a positive impact on as many young adults as possible. High school is when they discover themselves and I want them to be loved, cared for, and confident members of society.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student from Africa who had never seen or played in snow before. The first time it snowed that year I took him and his entire class outside and we played in the snow. Sometimes experiences are more precious than learning.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money to support students and teacher’s that I have worked with. I want to continue my education, and pay off my student loans.
