Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I truly believe there's nothing more important in the world than shaping the young minds of our future. And what's to come. Every mind and body is so important and we just need enough patience in to get through every student succeeding.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching moment would have to be spending Halloween holiday together by pumpkin carving and pumpkin painting and having a small costume contest. It was fun to have Halloween themed science experiments and seeing the kids light up because of what they were able to create by having fun. My current resources are limited. But that doesn't stop us with finding the most smiles and learning activities to make kids want to come back everyday to learn more.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I had 25,000 I would try my hardest to get STEAM based experiments and kits for my students to learn hands on science. We are struggling a bit and kits would help. I would get culinary based tools and kits to help my students learn the basics of living and cooking safely as well.
