Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen I was student teaching I had a student who hated school. He never wanted to work, he didn’t trust any teachers. I knew I had to help and make a difference in his life, so I worked with him one on one every day trying to connect with him. One day he was in my small group and he was refusing to work, didn’t want to do anything so I crouched down I spoke to him in a calm voice and treated him like a person. From then on I was the only teacher he would hug or ask for help.
