Tell us why you became a teacher

I was driven to become a teacher by the belief that I could positively impact the lives of my students. Reflecting on my own upbringing, where educational support was lacking due to my parents' constant work to provide for our family, I am committed to being the source of strong educational support for my students. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and enriching learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive and succeed academically.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of the most memorable teaching moments for me was witnessing students taking on the role of instructors themselves, as they were inspired to follow in my footsteps. It was a gratifying experience to see that my dedication to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment had motivated them to explore a career in education. Knowing that I had played a part in fostering a love for learning in these young minds was truly rewarding and reaffirmed the impact I had on them.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000, the funds would be allocated towards paying off existing loans, acquiring essential classroom supplies, and setting aside the remaining amount for educational purposes. Eliminating loans would allow for a fresh start. Investing in classroom supplies would enhance the learning environment and provide students with the necessary tools for academic success. Lastly, saving/utilizing the residual funds for educational endeavors would contribute to personal and professional growth.
