Mistakes cost lives. I love teaching because every human has an innate desire to learn. To share knowledge is to show kindness.

To be as the great healer from Nazareth, Jesus, who taught those around him, I desired to share the lessons that life and God have shown me. To explain why i am an avid teacher of history and horticulture I must paraphrase a thought from George Santayana, "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." To teach history and horticulture is to remember the sacrifices of the Hero's who have gone before us.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceA few years ago, I taught my neighbors daughters how to harvest fresh produce from the garden I had planted. When I saw how happy it made them to go in the garden and pick fresh bell peppers, harvest their first eggplant, and their first Zucchini, I knew that more people needed to be shown what they can do to replant the planet. Similar to my childhood memories of learning from Bill NYE the Science guy, I believe film is one of the best ways to reach an audience.
What would you do with the $25,000?Use it to film several projects: 1) Replant the Planet, which is a Youtube channel where I travel and interview horticultural experts around the world on their efforts to cultivate different trees, bushes, mushrooms, algae, coral, and cultivate soil microbiome like bio char. 2) I want to travel to different historical sites, libraries, and observatories around the world, writing screenplays, that tell the stories of different cultures Hero's and Deities, eventually filming a feature film.
