I became a teacher because I had an influential teacher who showed me how a teacher could do more than teach the academics but care about each student and love them as an individual.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen I was teaching at the University level and saw my first students become teachers and have their own classrooms. This is when I felt I had made an impact on more than one student but on that student and her whole class of students!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would give some to my school to fund projects they have been unable to fund also take my family on a vacation that we have never been able to go on all together.
