Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceDuring my field work, I had the pleasure of working with students who were nonverbal. This student would prompt me to read books to him daily. We truly bonded over books. Although nonverbal, he was able to voice some of the words as I read some of the books repetitively. I shared this with his mother who was beside herself. Teaching can be so rewarding every day even in the smallest of ways.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to be able to take care of my family. My mother is on disability being in remission from breast cancer. I would also love to give back to my school and do activities and field trips with my students that normally would be too pricey for them to experience.
