Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Teaching gives me the chance to share knowledge, inspire curiosity, and help students discover their potential. I believe education is a powerful tool for change, and being part of my students’ growth is deeply rewarding. I wanted a career where I could contribute to the future by shaping young minds, and teaching has given me a sense of purpose and fulfillment that no other profession could provide.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

A memorable experience in my teaching career is helping a child learn to read, write, and explore the world at their young age. Watching their eyes light up with excitement as they recognize their first words or express their thoughts in writing is truly unforgettable. It’s incredible to see their confidence grow as they discover the joy of learning and begin to understand the possibilities ahead. Moments like these remind me why I became a teacher and make my journey deeply fulfilling.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won $25,000, I would carefully plan how to use it to make a meaningful impact. I might save a portion for the future, invest in professional development to enhance my skills, or contribute to a cause close to my heart, such as supporting education. I’d also consider using it to improve my family’s well-being or take a much-needed trip to create cherished memories.
