Learn MoreI knew at a very young age that I wanted to be in education. I always enjoyed helping others and I knew that becoming a teacher would fulfill my dreams. I wanted to make a difference in children’s lives and I know I am doing that every single day with the profession I have. I feel blessed to say that I love the career I chose for myself.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are so many wonderful experiences I have with my students. But if I had to choose one…I had an email from a former student that I had in kindergarten and first grade. I had the privilege of having her for two years in a row. She emailed me to ask how I was and to let me know how well she was doing in school and how much she missed me. She was always the sweetest little girl. I will never forget it and I wrote her back to let her know that I had another baby and I named my baby after her.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the 25,000 for some home repairs, a little debt pay off, and take my family of five to Disney. I am very family oriented so I know I would be putting the money to good use and using it for my home and my family!! It would be such a blessing and we would be so grateful!
