Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I’m passionate about education and making a difference. I love shaping young minds, fostering curiosity, and inspiring students to reach their potential. Sharing knowledge, especially in subjects I enjoy, brings me fulfillment, and I was influenced by amazing teachers who left a lasting impact on me. While it has challenges, the chance to mentor, guide, and positively shape future generations makes it truly rewarding.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was helping a struggling student gain confidence. At first, they were hesitant and doubted themselves, but with encouragement, support, and tailored strategies, they gradually opened up and engaged more in class. The moment they proudly shared their work and recognized their progress was unforgettable. Seeing a student overcome challenges and believe in themselves reminded me why I love teaching—it’s about growth, resilience, and empowerment.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d enhance my classroom with upgraded technology, diverse books, and hands-on learning materials. I’d invest in flexible seating for a more inclusive space and fund field trips and guest speakers to provide real-world experiences. Every dollar would go toward creating an engaging, supportive environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and growth. My goal is to empower students with the best tools and opportunities to succeed.
