Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I knew that I wanted to be the teacher that I needed when I was their age. I want to help kids who struggle with school and give them the confidence they need to grow. I want my students to love coming to school like I did!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was when I opened up my classroom door on the first day school my first year as a teacher. I was so excited to meet all my students. One student came up to me and handed me an apple. I told her that I eat an apple every day and she had the biggest smile. It was a feeling like no other.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were to wi. $25,000, I would use it to help me purchase supplies for my students that we need to help us learn and grow. I would also use that money to take classes and further my education so I can be the best teacher for my students.
