I became a teacher because I knew since I was a little girl I wanted to be a teacher. I was always a "teacher's pet" when I was in school. I loved my teachers and what they did. I wanted to make and impact on youth and help them out and education was the best way to do that!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI think my most memorable teaching experience was my first year and having a student removed by DCFS. I love the students as if they are my own and I took it really hard. I wanted to know where she was going and if she would be okay. I still think about her!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would give some to my parents because they paid for my college and allowed me to have the education I have. Then I would like to look at a house and stop paying rent. Then I would also like to plan a trip to Italy/ Germany to visit my foreign exchange students I have hosted.
