I wanted to be like the two teachers I had that helped me in school. I want students to know that even if they do struggle in school there is always a teacher that understands and willing to help them through the struggle. I can relate to the students and help them get through the rough times.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student that had ADHD and was failing the first grade again. I was asked to help him because others had tried and could not help him. For the rest of the school year I helped him with making games out of activities and allowing him to move around and not sit the whole time in his chair while he was learning. This student went from having Fs and Ds to Cs.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off some bills and the rest of it I would put towards items to help me tutor students from Pre-K to 4th grade.
