I have always loved learning and loved children. Being a creative soul, my mother and sister always said I was destined to become a teacher.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moment was a few years after teaching 8th grade, a student I had taught came back after joining the armed services to thank me for being an inspiration in his life; I could not have been prouder of this young man as he had overcome so many obstacles. I have just recently returned to being a classroom teacher after being out of the classroom, but not out of education for 17 years. I have decided that I want to teach until I retire as this is where my passion lies.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to mark something off my bucket list, like a trip to Hawaii or Ireland.
