I wanted to make a significant difference in students lives by helping them grow academically and personally. Teaching allowed a me to create an environment where students can feel safe and supported. I love working with students and helping them reach their goals.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceSome of my most memorable experiences teacher were when my students finally grasped hard concepts they were struggling to learn. Another one of my most memorable moments were with one of my challenging students and finally breaking through and being able to create a relationship with them. They still continue to message me through schoology just to check in.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off my student loans and with the remaining money I would love to use towards classroom supplies for my classroom! I would get sand for the exploration station in my classroom. I would hope to buy new manipulatives the kids could learn with.
