Learn MoreI became a teacher because of my love of learning and wanting to teach what know. As a chemist I have learned a lot about science and its processes. By teaching I’m able to teach what I have learned over the years and give back.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences came in the form of a “A Ha” moment while teaching chemistry. I had my students analyze Oppenheimer’s role in science discovery along with the ethical issues scientists face. When several students expressed that in all science discoveries there are ethical issues faced by the scientists working on them.
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 I would actually put some aside and use the rest to upgrade my mom’s house to be handicapped accessible. Over the years her health has Gooden the best of her and now that she is walking with a walker and will soon be immobile I would like to make her living space more practical for her.
