I became a teacher because I wanted to help my students experience a-ha moments in life. I want them to have a dependable adult who would help them learn and grow as so many children do not have that. I had an amazing teacher in third grade who helped me survive life, literally. I wanted to be that person if I ever had a student in similar life experiences like my own. I want my students to know that no matter what they will always have a safe adult to rely on, throughout their entire life.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy favorite and most memorable experiences in teaching is going to my students extra curricular activities. I try to make it to at least one activity for each of my students throughout the year. I get to see them doing what they love and they get to see that I care about them outside of school also. It really helps build essential relationships with my students. Plus, I love seeing them outside of school doing what they love to do.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off my student loans.
