I love the ahh hah moments. I love watching them develop their academic independence.

I became a teacher because being in a classroom is different every day. Of course there a definitely constant but always tons of mysteries to solve. Tons of mitigating factors and the element of surprise.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experience involved an unusual visitation from a group of migrating butterflies after my father's passing. This class fell in love with intertwined trees at our bus ramp because we would see a host of insects, birds, an the occasional white squirrel. On this day a beautiful large blue butterfly landed on my arm . Suddenly, we were surrounded by what seemed like a hundred butterflies who surrounded us and the trees. We discussed why but I never forgot that day.
What would you do with the $25,000?Of course I'm spending some on a field trip. My current class lives to paint and they have also expressed interest in going to either the zoo or an aquarium. Personally I need to a newer vehicle and I need to pay off a few bills.
