I have always loved teaching. When I was a student, I was teaching my stuffed animals in my bedroom from leftover school papers my teacher gave me. I love learning. I love how our learning is ever changing and rapidly changing our world. It's awe inspiring!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIt had to be during the pandemic. Teaching from home was so challenging. Trying to make it engaging as possible was my main focus. That is when I started incorporating SEL lessons to keep us calm and focused on learning. Teaching from home was definitely my most memorable experience.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have many small projects at my house that need completed. I would use that to fix the situations. I would definitely treat my students to a day of all the good stuff. Breakfast, lunch, and an ice cream party!
