I became a teacher to lead young people to their full potential and give them a space where they know someone is always rooting for what is best for them.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experience was this year when I was working one on one with a student and they told me that I was able to explain things in a way that their brain understood and not many teachers were able to do that for them. It made me feel like I was able to make an actual difference for my students.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to help with some of my student loans and purchase much needed supplies for my classroom that I am unable to get through my district, like tissues, student incentives and post-it chart paper.
