I became a teacher to make a difference in the world. To show children that people do want them to succeed and become their best self! I strive for my students to know that if they can’t count on anyone else they can count on me! I want to do everything I can to help my students be successful! I love to be around children and teach them new things. I love to be someone my students feel comfortable talking to. There is no better feeling then helping a student learn!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have only taught in Kindergarten and Pre-K but I have had the privilege to teach English Language Learners and I remember teaching this one little boy who spoke little to no English but we had a routine in the classroom and participated in rug time. That’s where we shared things about our day or asked questions about things we had been learning. He was listening to everyone else give their answers and so he raised his hand and answered in a complete sentence in English!
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 I would make sure I had what I need for my classroom and then I would pay off my car!
