I became a teacher because I was looking for jobs and I wanted something hands on and involved. This is my first year teaching and also first job ever and I’ve fallen in love with it. I enjoy the impact I have on kids and the support I provide them. I just love being there for others.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI have a student who struggles. Our most recent topic, makes sense for him. I love seeing the confidence this student now has.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use it to go towards my class room and then funding for research or a trip that is supportive of math.
