I love teaching because teachers touch the lives of so many. Every profession has to come through a teacher.

Learn MoreI became a teacher because I believe in the power of education to shape lives. From a young age, I was drawn to helping others learn, and as I grew older, I realized that teaching was more than just a profession—it was a calling. I have had the opportunity to inspire curiosity, foster a love for learning, and make a lasting impact on students’ lives for 23 years. This is what motivated me to become a teacher.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere was a student in my class who struggled with confidence and often hesitated to participate. One day, we were working on a group project, and I saw a spark in his eyes as he quietly shared an idea with a classmate. Seeing that student transform from hesitant to empowered was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career, and it continues to inspire me every day.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would split the funds between professional development as an educator and personal use in a way that benefits my career and personal life.
