Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I want to make a difference in the education system. As a student, I disliked school until my fifth grade teacher changed how I see education differently. My passion for teaching is like a reward to me because when in the classroom, I love to see a student smile and laugh. After I learned that students look for a light and leader to push them to their highest, as a teacher, I can do this by getting to know them and their learning style to ensure each one achieves.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was when I was in my student teaching, I had to teach a lesson, and one of the students in the classroom was so excited because I was talking about the solar system. I knew that when I started discussing this, a child's face lit up like a Christmas tree, and from then on, during my student teaching, I tried to make a good memory about a classroom that I had because we never know what is going on in that child's life. We're the outlet to a child's academics.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I can only speak for myself in this matter, but if I win the money, I intend to use it to support my family during the difficult times we are currently facing. I can't describe how much this could transform our lives.
