I became a teacher to make a positive impact on students’ lives. I believe education unlocks potential, builds confidence, and inspires a love of learning. I love helping students overcome challenges and celebrate their successes. Seeing them grow academically and personally is incredibly rewarding. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging classroom where every student feels valued. Teaching is my passion, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to shape young minds and futures.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable experiences was with a student who struggled with math and lacked confidence. After weeks of extra support, they solved a tough problem on their own, and the pride on their face was unforgettable. That moment, when they believed in themselves, reminded me why I teach. It was a powerful reminder of the difference encouragement and patience can make.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d enhance my classroom with resources that make math more engaging and accessible for all my students. I’d invest in hands-on tools, technology, and materials to better support different learning styles. Professional development would also be a priority, helping me grow as an educator and bring new strategies to my teaching. This funding would allow me to create a more dynamic learning environment where every student can build confidence and succeed.
