The inspiration for my teaching career come from my late mother, who cared for children and helped them with homework. Her dedication influenced me deeply. On "Take Your Daughter to Work Day " my sister and I joined her at school. She later became a full-time tutor, demonstrating great care for her students. Motivated by her example, I pursued my career at the same school, fulfilling my dream. Teaching is rewarding as I witness my students' growth and success.

My most memorable teaching experience involved an AVID student whom I first met last year. Now in my class, he has been attentive to lessons focused on real-world life skills. He refers to me as his "school mom," showing appreciation for my support and listening. After meeting his mother, she thanked me for helping him stay out of trouble and creating a safe space. This rewarding experience confirms I am positively impacting my students' lives.

Receiving the $25,000 as America's Favorite Teacher would be a tremendous honor. I would priortize my children's college education, donate to a charitable organization, support my husband and my twin sister. Additionally I'd contribute to my school for the benefit of the students. Lastly, I would plan a vacation with my husband and family to celebrate the achievement. While there are numerous ways to use the money, these are my main priorities.
