Tell us why you became a teacher

I have always wanted to become a teacher since I was little and make a meaningful difference. I had some of the greatest teachers that made a huge impact on me, and I wanted to bring that forward and inspire the next generation of children and help them develop skills and feel supported to succeed in life .

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I have memorable moments every single day. Simply hearing “Good Morning Ms. Smith” with a giant smile on my students faces every morning is what makes it memorable and worth every second. Celebrating little tasks and each success no matter how small makes every moment memorable.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I donate a lot of my own time and money into my classroom, (as do most teachers) I would definitely use some of this money towards my classroom for more hands on/ sensory materials and tables for my littles and anything to better their education. In addition to my classroom, I would use this money to pay off my student loans!
