Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I knew that’s what I was destined and designed to be. After joining the Air Force and being honorably discharged, I decided it was time to fulfill my destiny.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Every school year, each season of my life is memorable. I’m not trying to sound cliché, but to say there is one moment that I remember most is like saying I have a favorite student. Each year is different and special. Humbly serving, with hopes that their learning seed will continually be nourished, so that they can have a plentiful harvest and pay it forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I have figuratively referred to my students as my garden. Watching them grow and produce fruit academically and socially is such a wonderful reward to my career. If I had an extra $25k, I would invest in a greenhouse to have my own special garden!
