My journey to teaching began unexpectedly while working at Google, I learned - analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning. However, I realized these skills could have a greater purpose in education. Instead of using them to close deals, I could use them to open minds and shape futures. Moving from a prestigious corporate position to teaching required courage and faith. That business background enriches my teaching, allowing me to present real world practical knowledge.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

In the Bronx, I faced a pivotal moment that would define my understanding of teacher's transformative power. In a self-contained classroom , Michael, a student grappling with numerous social challenges, lifted a desk to throw at another student. Through gentle words and patience he reversed course and later drew me in a picture as his reasoning. its significance remains a powerful testament to how compassionate intervention can redirect a student's path.
